Josh Willis wins 55Meter State Title with 6.61 time.

Josh, standing only 5’4”, has made the most of every inch and pound of his body putting up a blazing 6.61 55 meter time (as only a Junior).  The

title solidifies Josh as one of New England's fastest athletes.  When Josh began training with us his 55 time was in the low 7’s.  Joshs’ dedication and persistence has paid off big time.  WIth another year of training Josh can become one of the fastest athletes in the HISTORY of Western Massachusetts!

Seamus Curran ranked #97 in the Nation for High School Baseball players

Seamus Curran is now ranked the 97th best high school player in the nation by PBR and he was also named an UnderArmor pre-season All-American.  Seamus has added 25 lbs (6’6” 240) decreased his 60 yd time by 1 full second and increased his bat speed from the low 70’s to the mid to high 90s!!!  Look for Seamus to get drafted in the 2015 MLB draft!

RC Goodman named fastest player in the state (Massachusetts) by PBR

McClean and Curran sign D1 letters of intent

Congrats to Powerhouse athletes Ken McClean and Seamus Curran. Kenny is set for another big yr Westfield and just may be the top Pitcher in the area. Not much left to be said regarding Seamus. He keeps amazing me every month. 6'6" 240 lbs (+35) running a 7 flat 60 yd (down from 8 sec) with a bat speed consistently in the 94 - 97 mph range. SCARY. Not if the draft will call him in June - JUST WHEN!

East Longemadow’s Tom Chapdelaine signs to pitch at AIC on scholarship

Tom was 80 - 81 over the summer.  Since he started training in October he is now a consistent 85 mph on the Stalker gun.  This makes Tom the hardest thrower in Wmass.  (FYI  - The stalker gun reads 2 - 3 mph lower then the Juggs gun most people use when talking velocity)

Alex Caldwell commits to play baseball at Salem State

Wesleyan WR Josh Hurwitz named second team all NESCAC

Out of the thousands of athletes I've worked with here is one of the best. Josh Hurwitz - 7 years and 50 lbs later his career has come to a close. For an idea of what type of athlete he was. 315 lb power clean for reps, LEGIT 38" vertical, 330 lb bench press, 10 ft + broad jump, and his 10 yd laser sprint of 1.55 seconds would match or beat just about anyone in the area. Phenomenal athlete and an even better person!

Mike Mercadante rewrites Westfield State Record Books

Mike Mercadante goes out in style - Setting Career and Single Season TD marks for Westfield State. Amazing to think that Mike accomplished all that despite missing SIGNIFICANT time during his pervious 3 years from serious injuries he suffered back in high school. 38 career TD's is pretty special for the amount of games Mike played. Might be a long time before that ever gets broken.

Dakin ‘s game winner keeps St. Anselm’s soccer alive

Senior Captain Chad Dakin nets game winner to keep St. Anselm's soccer team alive. Chad is probably one of the only a handful of soccer players on the planet to have a legit 250+ Power Clean from the floor and near 400 lb full backsquat (butt to heels). Every time he steps on the field he is one of the fastest and most explosive players out there. He's trained his tail off for the last 7 years and it's paid off big time.

130 lb Christian Romero hits 85 mph at UCONN Showcase

Huge Congratulations to East Longmeadow's Christian Romero. He hit 85 mph at UCONN today. What people need to understand is Christian just started lifting about 4 weeks ago. Since then his fastball is up from 80 to 85. His bodyweight is up from around 119 to 130. At this pace he will be at 90 mph in no time! Think about that again - he is throwing 85 mph at 130 lbs. Once he finishes this off-season he will have every major program from the Northeast calling him

Hard work pays off. Too bad most baseball players don't want to step foot in the weight room or work out in the off-season.

Pilachoswki named all star game MVP for Wmass fall baseball league

Adam PIlachowski named MVP of the Fall Baseball High School All-Star Game. The South Hadley Junior has been drawing interest from some of the top teams in the Northeast of late!

Wilkins named to High School All-American Game (top 100 in nation for football prospects)

Congrats to Christian Wilkins on being selected to the High School All-American game. Christian might be the first player from Western Mass to ever get this honor. He is one of the top ranked football players in the entire country and he might be the only 300 lb high school student in the country that can do a standing backflip.
